Committee Roles – Social

Overview

The role of the Social representative on the Committee is to organise and/or oversee club social events.

Specific activities / jobs

  • Christmas Party
  • Summer Party (picnic, BBQ, etc.)
  • Lanzarote (booking & accommodation)
  • SerpieCamp (booking & accommodation)

General duties and responsibilities

It is important to be open to other social events that members suggest. The role does not include sorting out post running get-togethers.

The role does not require the person to do the entire organisation as other people can be assigned to be Event Organisers. However, the Social rep should have an overview of all the events, so he/she can fill in when the organising person is not available.
