The 2013 winner of the David Simpson Memorial Trophy, awarded on an annual basis for acheivement in hill and off road running, is Sarah Pemberton
The winning 10k was the Southport Mad Dog, with the BUPA London 10k in 2nd place. Many thanks to all who voted and, of course, to all of our race volunteers, without whom we wouldn't have a race at all.
The April A and B races have sold out. No further entries will be taken and no entries will be available on the day. ADVANCE NOTICE: the May race will be one week early, taking place on 23 May.
Our women's team won the gold medal in the England Athletics Marathon Championship yesterday, held as part of the London Marathon, and our men's team won bronze silver.

The main entrance to the Seymour Centre will be closed from Monday 4th April until Monday 5th May (due to reception refurbishment works taking place). You can enter the centre from Shouldham Street (at the back of the centre, where we leave for the runs) during this period.
There's no doubt in the minds of the Handicap Team that April's race will be closely studied by historians of our glorious event.
Our women's 6-stage A team finished 12th in Sutton Park yesterday at the national road relays, with the B team in 25th. The men's 12-stage equalled their best-ever result finishing in 15th, with the B team in 53rd.
A few of the things to look out for in April
We have three teams: men, women and (mixed) vets. If you'd like to take part this year please register your interest here as soon as possible.
After last year's cancellation, the Green Belt Relay, returns on the weekend of 17th & 18th May 2014.
The outdoor county championships will be held on 24th and 25th May with events in all age-groups from U13 through to senior. Please enter using this form or online via http://middlesexaa.org.uk/ Entries close 9th May.
Can we get a Serpie to all 270 tube stops by foot in one day? On Sunday 4th May we're aiming to do this by means of the Tube Line Relay; a team running from the far ends of each tube line, all to meet in Central London!
