Welsh Castles Relay - 4th/5th June

This year we have two teams, rather than the three that we have had in some years. Don't let that discourage you from signing up, as it will still be a challenge to fill both teams. Register here before 16th May.

Serpentine Mental Health Ambassadors

England Athletics, supported by Mind the mental health charity, have launched a Mental Health Ambassador programme. Serpentine is pleased that we have two volunteer ambassadors: Sid Wills and Jamie Giles

Serpentine win our first match of the SAL season

Our Southern Athletics League team achieved a surprise win at the first match of the season at Lea Valley.

Top 20 results for Serpie teams at National Road Relays

Our men's team finished in 15th place in the ERRA 12 stage relays at Sutton Park., and our two women's 6 stage teams finished in 17th and 32nd place.

Green Belt Relay - waiting list in place

The Green Belt Relay, returns on the weekend of 21st & 22nd May 2016. We have four teams (44 places - men, women, vets and mixed probably). Sign up now if you'd like to take part! 44 places have been taken but if you sign up to the waiting list there's a good chance you'll end up on a team as some people always withdraw.

England Athletics Athlete Registration due

It's time to renew your annual registration and race licence with England Athletics. Current licences expire on 31st March. Anyone who plans to compete in UK Athletics licensed road races or county, regional and national cross country races, or track & field competitions in 2016-17 needs to register for a race licence with England Athletics. Buy your 2016-17 licence in Serpiebase.

Westminster Mile including Junior Age Group Championship

Be part of the UK 1 mile Road Running Championships on the iconic course in St James’s Park, starting on The Mall and finishing in front of Buckingham Palace, on Sunday 29 May 2016. It is open to all runners and abilities, with a range of races available including the UK Road Mile Age Group Championship.
