It was good to see plenty of Serpie participation at last Thursday's 5km race at The Dome. The race was won by Simon Wurr (Kent AC) in 15:33 and the first woman was Rachel Townend (Stock Exchange) in 17:23; Emma Calderbank was second woman and Karen Hancock first V50. There were 238 finishers.

The Serpie women finished in an excellent 2nd place with the men coming 6th.
