Report
Just over 300 people turned up for this tough new race based in the town of Battle, near Hastings. After warming up with a gently undulating 6 mile loop, the course took us twice along a 10 mile out and back section packed with VERY steep ups and downs. Most of it was on quiet country roads, with plenty of well stocked aid stations. Also had chip timing, a decent goody bag, helpful marshals and nice friendly atmosphere – and the sunny weather was a bonus. Not everyone enjoyed the hills though, and this is definitely not a PB course!
