This was the third year of the race and it's already a major event on the French calendar. New this year were the 50k and 18k distances, but the 80k was the main event with all 1,500 places sold out well in advance. It winds through woods from the south-east of Paris to the finish line on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower. Pretty course and brilliant idea for a finish. Well organised too and bound to be a notable Serpie event in future years for the growing ultra contingent.
