It was windy. To be more accurate, it was very windy. Even that's an understatement because it was very, very windy. To tell the truth, it was very, very, very windy. Of course there were times when the wind abated.
Those were the times when we were bombarded by hailstones. It was no surprise to learn that plans are afoot to harness the wind by scattering windmills throughout the area for power generation. They have enough wind there to light and heat the whole of London. Greater London, that is.
