This mid sized race (approx 2100 runners) is held in Phoenix Park, Dublin, which is claimed to be the biggest city park in Europe. The organisation was pretty good but there wasn’t much rock n roll about it - few bands and not the atmosphere of say a St Albans half. Quite a few international runners but the average standard was not high - I came 30th overall with a time of 41:53
The course was downhill for the first 5k which is a bit worrying as the finish line was close to the start. Sure enough the last 5k is uphill and painful !
Enjoyable enough but I wouldn’t fly to Dublin especially for it.
