Report

This race is something of a cult classic among east London runners. It's a low key ten mile multi-terrain race taking in several tough hills, deep muck, forest trails, hard road and even golf course fairways, all in or around Epping Forest. Tough but fair course, flat to downhill after 7 miles, just after a brutal climb which several runners walked. Tea, cake and shower facilities in the Orion Harriers clubhouse afterwards. Highly recommended and suitable as a pre-spring marathon preparatory run.

The same club and venue hosts the better known Orion 15 mile trail race over a flatter route in two weeks and the club is keen for more guest runners to enter.
