Our women did extremely well winning the match and setting a number of personal best
performances: Sarah Knox 100, 200, 400 and LJ; Marielle Vestlund 3000; Alexandra
Openshaw 200, 800; Stephanie Vaatz 1500. Also well done to track first timer Bettina
Shreck and to Monica Kiraly for organising the team so well.
Men team attendance was a bit down this time but we cover all the events and avoided
to come last. Highlight of the evening was Neil White 200 in 24.8 (PB) and well done
to Ashok and Darren Nicolas for their Long Jump PBs.
A thank you to Malcolm French for helping with the field events.
Our next Rosenheim League match for men is on Wednesday, 2 July at Tooting Bec. The
meeting starts at 6.45pm and there will be track events from 100m to 3000m plus a
110H, shot, discus, triple jump, high jump and 4x200 Relay. Please contact me or
Monica Kiraly if you would like to compete, or help at the meeting.
