Club Championships

The Serpentine club championships are races at sprint tri, standard (Olympic) distance tri, middle-distance (Half Ironman) tri and Ironman distance tri, plus a duathlon and aquathlon, picked by the "racing" and "competition & team events" committee members to gives Serpeis the chance to race against each other and to create a bit of friendly intra-club rivalry!

Compete to be the best Serpentine member over the various distances and disciplines. Each of the triathlon and duathlon championship races also count towards the Club multi-sport championship – based on points scored compared to the best Serpie in the race.

To count for club championship competitions you must:

  1. Be a first claim member of Serpentine Running Club
  2. Have registered your club as Serpentine when joining the British Triathlon or informed them of any change from a former club to Serpentine RC.
  3. Complete the competition wearing club colours – any Serpentine running vest, tri clothing, cycling shirt or T-shirt carrying the gold hoops counts.

The dates of the club championships are listed below. They are also included in the Serpentine Planner where they are highlighted in yellow.
