Notice of Annual General Meeting on 6 September 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Serpentine Running Club will be held at 19:30 on Wednesday 6 September 2023 at St Mary's Bryanston Square Primary School, Enford St, W1H 1DL.
The purpose of the AGM is:
- to decide on any resolution which may be duly submitted to the meeting as provided by the Rules of the Club
- to receive from the Committee a report, balance sheet, and statement of accounts for the preceding financial year
- to elect the Honorary Officers and the Committee, to ratify the selection of Honorary President, and to appoint the Auditor for their terms.
Please send any nominations to be Honorary Officers (Chair, Treasurer, Secretary), and for membership of the Committee to the Club's Chair by email by Wednesday 23 August 2023. Any first claim Ordinary Member or Life Member of at least one year's standing may be nominated. They must be proposed and seconded by two other members, and must confirm their willingness to stand for election. The nomination must also clearly state for which position(s) the member is standing.
Any resolutions proposed for consideration by the AGM must be submitted in writing to the Chair by Tuesday 15 August 2023. Notice of the text of any resolutions received shall be given by Wednesday 23 August 2023 by means of a notice displayed in the Club Room at the Seymour Leisure Centre, and on the website, http://www.serpentine.org.uk.
