Coastal Trail Ultra - Sussex (22 Mar 2014)
Spectacular route as ever on East Sussex Coast - Seven Sisters, Beachy Head and South Downs vistas all feature. Wind sunshine rain and hail- but hey, it's English late winter/early Spring! Endurance Life organisation smooth, though checkpoints might have had a little more than banana segments water and broken up Cliff bars! Underfoot almost perfect for trail: springy, firm with little surface water. Recommended, as with Beachy Head Marathon in October or Three Forts trail marathon in May on East Sussex Downs. Beats city roads anyday any weather!
