Helwith Bridge Duathlon (02 Oct 2005)

A rather hilly duathlon - the run legs start up a steep hill and then continue with more hills (up and down) for 4 miles or so. The 23 mile cycle is continuously hilly, with a few hundred metres of cumulative up and down. Hard work!

There were only 49 competitors and the standard was quite high, however everyone was very friendly and the organisation extremely good. Results were available about 10 minutes after finishing. Worth doing again!

Helwith Bridge Duathlon (01 Oct 2006)

Another fun but hard race around Ingleborough in the Yorkshire Dales. Five Serpies actually took part: Nadya Labib (cycling) and Sally Hodge (running) competed as a team, finishing in 02:42:41
