Paddington Track
Paddington reopened in mid-2021 after a full track refurbishment and now boasts a new 6-lane synthetic track. This is the track that Roger Bannister trained on in preparation for breaking the 4 minute mile while working at the nearby St Marys Hospital. We are now the home club at this track.
The club organises track sessions on Monday and Tuesday evenings starting at 7:00pm. This is also the main location for our current junior training options on Tuesdays.
There are changing facilities, showers and small lockers available at the track. For adults there is no fee for use of the track, however use of the showers and changing rooms costs £3.15 (as at May 2022 and subject to change from time to time), payable at reception. There are lockers located by reception and they require a returnable £1 coin to operate. For Juniors, there is a track fee of £2.50 per session.
Within Paddington Recreation Ground, the Pavilion is also available for Serpentine group meetings / workshops etc. Please contact your Strategic Partnership Committee member for further details.
