COVID-19 Information

The COVID-19 virus has significantly affected our regular Serpentine club activities. As a sports organisation, we place huge importance on the physical, mental and emotional well-being of our members, and of the wider sporting community - and we recognise that all our lives are impacted in unprecedented ways right now.

This page has been created as a go-to for members and non-members to access up-to-date information about the club's response, throughout the duration of the COVID-19 crisis. As a committee, we are strictly adhereing to Governmental and NHS directives, along with guidance received from the British Triathlon Federation and England Athletics . Our priorities are that we contribute to minimising the spread of infection within the UK, reduce risk to our members, and work to maintain and support the 'Serpie Spirit' of our fantastic club community.

The most recent club statement to members, confirming details of our club sessions re-start plan, is available to read here. Some Serpentine club runs and coached training sessions have restarted, with Covid-secure procedures in place to ensure compliance with Government guidance. Please see here, for an up to date list of all runs and training sessions currently on offer.

Serpie Blog spot

On a lighter note, our Mental Health Champions have put together a weekly blog - written by Serpentine members - to share the highs and lows of adjusting to our new reality.  You can read the Serpies Survive Covid-19 blog here .  Our MHCs can be contacted at wellbeing@serpentine.org.uk
