COVID-19 Information

The COVID-19 virus has significantly affected our regular Serpentine club activities. As a sports organisation, we place huge importance on the physical, mental and emotional well-being of our members, and of the wider sporting community - and we recognise that all our lives are impacted in unprecedented ways right now.

This page has been created as a go-to for members and non-members to access up-to-date information about the club's response, throughout the duration of the COVID-19 crisis. As a committee, we are strictly adhereing to Governmental and NHS directives, along with guidance received from the British Triathlon Federation and England Athletics . Our priorities are that we contribute to minimising the spread of infection within the UK, reduce risk to our members, and work to maintain and support the 'Serpie Spirit' of our fantastic club community.

Some Serpentine club runs and coached training sessions have restarted, with Covid-secure procedures in place to ensure compliance with Government guidance and England Athletics restrictions. An outline of the different EA restrictions according to tier level can be found here.
