Assembly League 2023
The Assembly League (3.5 mile or 5k races over a few Thursday nights once a month from April to September) is back this year.
Generally they are really good races for the shorter distances, pre pandemic we used to have 15-20 people coming to run in each race. Thanks to Philip Whitehouse who volunteered to be the Serpentine rep again for this year, so we can take part in this event again.
The race dates are as follows:
- Thursday April 6th Beckenham Place Park
- Thursday May 4th Victoria Park.
- Thursday June 1st Crystal Palace Park or Dulwich Park or Eton Manor venue. (TBC)
- Thursday July 6th Crystal Palace Park or Dulwich Park or Eton Manor venue. (TBC)
- Thursday Aug 3rd Victoria Park.
- Thursday Sept 7th Beckenham Place Park.
All races to start at 7:30pm.
There is no need to sign up in advance, and entries are free, so just wear your Serpie top to race. Generally you can leave your bag of belongings in the race headquarters, however this is at your own risk.
