Serpentine RC New Year's Day 10k 2022 – Volunteers needed!

Thanks to the 50 or so members who have signed up to volunteer to help stage the New Year’s Day 10k so far. We are looking for about another 20-25 volunteers – would you be available?
This is a race that Serpentine RC organises, and our members do not enter the race; instead we volunteer to put on a good show for the London running community. So if you want to start the new year by doing something positive while having fun with other members, please come and join us in Hyde Park. Depending on your role, we would like you to come to Hyde Park (near the Boat House) at about 9:30 to 10:00am (the meeting time will be confirmed before New Year’s Eve).

Once you've registered, you will be allocated a role closer to time. Roles include the following (and not limited to):
- Marshals (in various locations across Hyde Park)
- Runner registration
- Bag drop
- Water station
- Awarding medals to finishers
- And many other roles!
We need as many volunteers as possible – at the moment I think we need about 70 to 75. As usual, we are planning to provide refreshments after the event for all volunteers.
