Serpentine Parkrun Day - Sat 30th November, Clapham Common
We will have our first Club parkrun Day in Clapham Common on 30th Nov - wear your Serpie colours and run together!

Hello Serpies,
A lot of us do parkruns, so why don't we do one together? Introducting our first Club parkrun Day, at the end of this month in South London:
Date: Saturday 30th November 2019
Time: 08:40 for 08:50 safety briefing and 09:00 run start - I'll be there from 08:40 wearing red Serpie kit.
Venue: Clapham Common (close to the double football pitches near Broomwood Road). I'll be around where the safety briefing is. Closest tube Clapham South - Northern Line.
Distance: 5km
Attire: You're encouraged to wear Serpie colours to run, so that we recognise each other. A group photo is part of the plan too.
First-timer: If you've never done a parkrun before, you need to register here with parkrun and print off a barcode. You're advised to do this at least a couple of days before. You only need to do this once - this can be used in future parkruns as well as this one. Bring the barcode with you each time - essential if you'd like a registered time.
To join: Just turn up on the day, you don't need to sign up! However, it would be helpful if you could let me know in advance, so I know how many and who are coming. Please register your interest through the Race & Event Planner, or respond to my Facebook message yesterday if you are in the group.
Toilet facilities: There are public toilets near the Bowling Green Cafe, next to the tennis courts at Nightingale Walk.
Volunteering: As we could potentially be a large group, we should provide a couple of volunteers to help the event's organisers. If anyone wants to help, please let me know.
Afterwards: Coffee to keep ourselves warm and relaxed in the Perky Nel, 7-8 Cavendish Parade, London SW4 9DW, next to Tesco near Clapham South Station.
