Summer league home fixture, Sun 5th - can you help?
Our Summer League home fixture is almost upon us and we need a few more volunteers to make it happen!
Thank you to all of those who have contacted us already. We are almost set but just need a few more helpers on the day. Can you come to Battersea Park this Sunday morning to give a helping hand?
Summer League is a great event, with runners of all ages and abilities taking part and a jolly picnic to top it off! We would appreciate your support in putting on our home fixture and making it go with a bang!
This year, there is the added feature of a bake-off between the host clubs and we are hoping to show off our members' baking skills! Can you whip up something for the day?
We could arrange to collect your creation on the Saturday at the Handicap race or the Sri Chimnoy 10k if you would like to send something along but can't make it on Sunday.
Please contact Daisy summerleague@serpentine.org.uk if you can help on the day or bring/send baked goodies along.
If you can come along to race, please do! It will be a 10k in the park and is great for all abilities.
Guests (non-members) are also welcome for the bargain price of £2, to be paid on the day to our team captain.
