**Entries close Sunday** for the Liddiard / North of the Thames cross country championships

Entries for the first of this season's cross country races must be in by this Sunday 15th October. Any entries received after this date will not be eligible for entry. And once again, the race is also incorporating the Liddiard Trophy, so there's the opportunity to win a lot of trophies in one race!

If you’ve not run cross country for the club before, please don’t be put off by the "championship" tag. All this means is that the clubs are competing for a cup or trophy and you’ll find runners of widely differing abilities taking part in the race. So please come and take part - the more, the merrier!

Important note re cost of entries

The club has always supported the club's members by paying for your entry fee for each championship race. As entry fees can be as much as £7 per person and to ensure club funds are used properly, please can you consider the following before you enter :

  • Am I definitely free that day? If yes and you enter, put it your diary so you can't double book yourself.
  • What other races am I doing? If you have a key race, around this time, you need to consider if this race is part of your overall race strategy or not. If in doubt, please speak to one of the club's coaches who can advise.

By entering this race you are committing to racing unless something unforseen e.g. a new injury or sickness prevents you from doing so.
