New club 100m sprint record holder
Several Serpies competed at the Middlesex County Track & Field Championships this weekend, including a number of our juniors. Congratulations to Awa Ndiaye whose 12.92 for 100m makes her the new club sprint record holder.
UPDATE: Awa competed last week in the SLAN open and ran 12.5 for 100m, even faster!
Still in the U15 category, Awa is also our youngest club record holder. Her older sister is second fastest in our record table!
On the same day, our male 100m record was also close to being broken with a 10.97 from Alexander Moka (U17). Alex is currently second in the table and I doubt it will be long before he becomes number 1.
