Summer Road Relays - Join the Serpie teams!
Hi Serpies,
Thanks to those who have signed up for the Road Relay teams in September. We’re excited to be able to field competitive teams in both the men’s and women’s categories at the moment. However, we'd love to see more red and gold representatives as one of the largest road running clubs in London, and we could form more teams in both competitions.
These road relays are a great opportunity to compete as part of a team and spin out the legs over some short distances as Track & Field season closes, we move into some competitive Autumn 10ks / half marathons and lead into the cross country season. The events are as follows.
Middlesex Road Relays
When? Sunday 10th September
Where? Minet Centre, Hayes
What? 3 x c.3000m
Eligible to compete? Born in Middlesex or live in the County currently
Southern Road Relays
When? Saturday 23rd September
Where? Rushmoor Arena, Aldershot
What? 6 stages (Men), 4 stages (Women)
Eligible to compete? First claim Serpentine member
