Serpentine 10k Club Championship: Saturday, 7 September - entries close TODAY
This year, the Serpentine 10k Club Championship will be the Middlesex 10k, which also incorporates the Middlesex County 10k Road Championship. See full story for entry details. Entries close on 1 September.
The race will be held on Saturday (not Sunday!), 7 September in Victoria Park, Hackney, E9 5FG starting at 10.30am and is being staged in association with Victoria Park Harriers and Tower Hamlets AC. Serpentine will be helping with the marshalling, etc., about which I'll write later. This is a "no-frills" race on a flat, 3-lap, and traffic free course.
Online entries are via either the RunnersWorld (www.runnersworld.co.uk) or RunBritain (www.runbritain.com/onlineentry) websites. A postal entry form can be downloaded from the Middlesex CAA website (http://www.middlesexaa.org.uk/)
Entries close on 1 September, so there's not much time to get yours in. Please note that there will be no entries on race day itself.
