Four loops at its 11th edition on a breezy sunny day, 6 Celsius. I´ve won my age cathegory in a rarefied field at my local marathon. It was emotional, being my last race in a Serpentine top, after 6 good years with a great club. Nice memories! Now I´ve married and we are expecting a baby boy in January, back for good in my lovely Timişoara. It was for the very first time to suffer an injury, in more than 16 years of running, 3 weeks before the race, a serious enough calf strain. I really don´t know how I´ve done it. Now I can peacefully retire to those many pints like in a distant past.
