This race forms part of the annual 2 day TCR (triathlon) show at Sandown Park Racecourse and is currently sponsored by Saucony. This year the organisers had been asked to arrange a route on the tarmac surfaces only which resulted in 3 loops around the stables and in front of the grandstand. Surprisingly, it was quite hilly, so not a pb course. Timing chips are issued for accurate results. The entry fee of £16 includes admission to the show but the race is otherwise not worth doing unless you want to check your fitness level after the winter snow.
