Race conditions

Wet and windy, but generally comfortable conditions for the first 23kms until the large bridge.

Not known as a fast course due to the large climb over the river and the headwind for the last third, this is a still a pretty race, even in the wet. Most people run a very positive split due to the first half being easy and not saving enough for the bridge climb or wind running.
