Report
A small race (around 100 in the standard distance and the same again in the sprint) but well organised and marshaled all the same. I'd not been to Stockton for years and was amazed at the transformation in the riverside area. It really is very nice with modern buildings, some new bridges and, thankfully, the river looked nice and clean.
The swim was two laps in the River Tees in a calm, wide section behind the Tees Barrage. The water was only 16deg so it was rather cold! The bike was four laps on closed roads and pretty flat so made for a fast time. The run was a single figure of eight on footpaths along the riverside so also flat and fast.
A PB course (I can say that because I got a PB - I don't count my MK time as that was a short course!)
