Warm, muggy.

The race was on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year so far so was slightly warmer and muggier than would have been ideal. The usual Serpie pot-hunters were there and Urban Bettag (second claim Serpie) improved on his second place in the last two years to win the race while Val Metcalf and Phil Kelvin picked up the first and third female veteran prizes.
