This is a great race around Derwent Water, unexpectedly for the Lake District in early May the weather was sunny and warm, almost too warm! Considering the location the course is no worse than undulating (though Rachel insists that the hill at 3 miles definitely means I should call it hilly), and the last few miles are fairly flat. Was well organised (they didn't even mind us turning up just before the start with no pre-entry) and well marshalled. Was very enjoyable and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
