Beautiful weather for the delayed October handicap race. Upcoming events including Met League cross country, Cabbage Patch, Oxford Half resulted in a smaller field but the Hogshead competition is brilliantly set up between Sophie and Michael with only a couple of points separating them and both have to beat 21 points in a race to add to their totals.

Luke spoke briefly marking the passing of Keith Evans who was a handicap stalwart and who will be missed.
