Our next Serpie Talk has not one, not two but three guests! Many of you have heard about Hyrox, but do you know Serpentine has athletes who have been winning medals nationally and racing internationally in Hyrox? After the recent episodes in the past couple of years, we are glad to invite our own distinguished Hyrox extraordinaires to tell us about their winning and racing journeys!
This coincides with the Club’s recent plan to start having Hyrox training sessions of our own in September. If you want to know more about Hyrox, there is no better way than coming to this Serpie Talk!
Episode 6 – Hyrox Special with Roger, Camilla and Ruth – Fri 11th September 2026
We are honoured to have Roger Reid, Camilla Allwood and Ruth Gledhill who will share their insight and experience in Hyrox races, including the training, mindset and race-day lessons behind their podium finishes. What made them want to do Hyrox in the first place? How do they get motivated in this niche sport?
Join us for this episode of Serpie Talk as usual in St Mary’s School for what promises to be a wonderful conversation!

- Time: Doors open at 18:30, event begins at 19:00 and finishes approx. 20:00
- Venue: St Mary’s Bryanston Square Primary School, Enford Street, London W1H 1DL (Same place as our Wednesday Runs. Closest Tube: Marylebone).
- Entry fee: Free – this is a free event for all Serpies and guests. Feel free to invite a friend or family member who is not a Serpentine member.

Although it is free to come, please register via this event page, as this will allow us to plan for the event and have expectation of numbers. Those who are present in the evening can join us for some socialising afterwards – location to be decided.
