Fab course - pretty flat, pretty countryside, pretty medal. Well organised by the Maidstone Harriers.

Started at 10am - weather was overcast, until the sun came blazing through the clouds at 10:45am. The temperature went up by 10 degrees instantly.

Good support around the route, and 3 water stops - including a perfectly placed one around mile 8. Start of the race is a little congested, slower runners too close to the front. But the pack soon broke up.

Recommend this one highly! Guy announcing the finishers on the home stretch was perfect, big timing clock, and chip timing made it professional. Tea and homemade cake for a quid rounded up the race. Perfect.
