Report
A friendly, low key and testing half marathon in deep West Wales. Amazingly, I was the only Serpie in the race. The conditions were perfect. The first 7 miles are on road and are hilly. Not impossible but takes your breath away if you are trying for even splits. The back few miles go through the major SSRI Tregaron Bog ( sounds better in Welsh - Cors Caron ) where you can see Red Kites – Buzzards – rare Newts - even rarer blood sucking leaches. The race finishes near the local rugby club with the prize ceremony and a hearty bowls of “ Cawl “ - Welsh Soup for all.
