A pretty trail marathon through the Cascade mountains in Oregon. Unusually cold weather for early October, but the trails weren't frozen over. The course combined single track paths with mountain access tracks and had a steady climb up to about halfway then some significant downhill through the second half except the steep, but short, hill in the last mile. Classic trail running, won in an lightning quick time of 1h14m by the US trail running champ.
