This was the last Sri Chinmoy Battersea Park race for 2009.

These races really do have everything:
They're fast and flat, have helpful friendly marshalls, are beginner friendly, have entry on the day and aren't overpriced. And there are always a good few Serpies to chat to before and after the race.

Conditions on Saturday were breezy and a little chilly at the start. The race had a small field with only 54 finishers.
