It was an enjoyable race and a fantastic pre-cross country season warm up. There was a distinct lack of mud due to past week of dry and sunny weather. There were perhaps only myself and one other Serpentine member competiting - the race is very popular with clubs from South London, who take part in the Surrey Cross Country leagues, but I can highly recommend it to all Serpentine members - perhaps we could get a team along next year. As an added bonus, I came first out of the ladies.
