Below freezing and snow everywhere, except on the tarmac path and road which had been cleared.

Started in memory of a running friend who died of cancer, this was the 6th year of this Belgian race, and it's extremely well organised. Even with arctic conditions and temperatures of -10 degrees Celsius the night before, the 6km loop was cleared of snow, making it a possible PB course if you don't mind the cold and don't eat too much over Christmas. Km markers were spot on and the atmosphere was really positive. Half and 10k options also available and highly recommended.
