Race conditions

Cool (6-9 C), very windy (HQ tent urgently evacuated as it nearly blew away), dry and mostly sunny.

Report

Course flat and fast but exposed. Well organised and friendly event,
with plenty of helpful marshals, but heavy traffic arriving in half hour
before race caused 15 min delay to start. 1,139 finishers. Serpie
women took 8th place out of 21 teams, Serpie men 26th out of 41.
