Report
Race report: The race was run in perfect conditions, and was very well
supported along the route. The course is flat, fast and quite wide, although
there were still some congested areas, particularly for first time
marathoners who had to all start together regardless of pace (hint: in
future enter your predicted time as your pb). Also the start and finish
areas were not particularly well organised, but the organisers made up for
this by putting on free beers at the finish! A large contingent of Serpies
ran the race (around 30) which made for a great team atmosphere and a great
weekend away.
