Warm and sunny. 25 degrees at the start/finish line, but a couple of degrees cooler beside the reservoir, and the course is more than 50% shaded by trees

The scenery really is breathtaking. Almost a purpose-built half marathon circuit round the lake. Definite PB potential. Great support and organisation from the marshals, drinks stations (every 3 miles), the Oswestry Olympians and all.
