This is a great event, especially if you are new to duathlon like I am. You get a real range of competitors from the very fast to folk on mountain bikes. The run course is on pedestrian pathways around a lake, away from roads. The bike course is on service roads around the National Bowl and as such is closed to traffic. The bike course is fairly technical
