Report
With temperatures approaching thirty degrees centrigrade on the start line, getting to the finish line in one piece became the priority. The organisers struggled to cope with insufficient water stops, and the one ambulance dealing with the stream of dnfs which reached around 25% of participants. Fortunately, Norfolk doesn\'t have a hosepipe ban, and residents stood outside their houses literally hosing down runners as we passed.
The Kenyan winner apparently did a personal worst by six minutes, and complained that is was harder than running in Africa and Asia. There must certainly be easier ways of losing 3kg in bodyweight, but in normal conditions this is a fast course, and the t-shirt was top notch.
