Race conditions

variable - warm sun alternating with cold wind. Without the wind, running conditions would have been perfect.

A friendly little race in pleasant country scenery over an undulating course. The sort of race where it seems everyone in the village turns out to help or spectate.

Also called the \"bun run\", after the hot cross bun which all the finishers receive, along with a medal and a mini jar of honey.

In my opinion, a good choice of race for \"sharpening\" two weeks before the London Marathon.
