The 10 mile course is two circuits of cycleways and bridle paths around Bretton, a north western suburb of Peterborough. The race flyers described it as a flat course. However, with numerous underpasses and overpasses a few runners local to the Fens were describing it as undulating. The course is not fast. It has a lot of twists and turns amongst the back ways of Bretton. The longest straight is probably no more than 400m.
