Report
It was a pleasant race. There was a good turn-out, considering the time of year and the brisk cold wind (around 600 runners).
The race consisted of a two lap scenic course which took you round the Epsom race course and through the nearby villages of Tadworth and Walton on the Hill.
It was multi-terrain, with a couple of rather muddy sections through fields, and then gravelly sections through woods, as well as a stretch on a few roads. Not the easiest 10 miles to run - there is a 1 mile steady climb which includes a couple of steep sections plus 2 or 3 "false flats". Your hill training sessions pay off here. To sum up, it's a pleasant local running race which makes for a good way to start the year.
