What were your aims before the trip?: To do a bit extra running training in preparation for my spring marathon and to meet a few new Serpies / get to know them better Stephanie Vaatz

Did you fulfil your aims?: Yes, even better than expected

Were you able to train with other Serpies of similar standard?: Yes, the group is big enough that there is usually somebody to run with or not to far ahead

Was there a sufficient variety of sessions available to take part in?: The variety is big an similar to what the club offers in London

What were the facilities like at Club La Santa? What were the scopes of the run/cycle routes around the island?: The facilities were good and easily accessible at all times. The running routes are giving a great break from the usual runs around London.

Was there any opportunity to do other sports apart from running/swimming/cycling?: There are lot and lots of opportunities for other sports and some of the Club La Santa events are well organised.

What were the restaurants and food like at Club La Santa?: Okay, did not need to starve. There is also a supermarket in the nearby village.

What sort of activities were you able to do in the evenings?: Mostly going for dinner with a group of Serpies, sometimes doing some socialising afterwards over a drink or a game of pool.

Did you get to know many other Serpies that you had not met before?: Yes, a few.

Would you have any tips for anyone going on the trip for the first time?: Don't be afraid to go on the trip it is not as hardcore training as you think. You decide on how much or little training you want to do.

Can you sum up your Club La Santa experience in one sentence?: It is a great week to have lots of fun with some lovely, similar minded people.
