Sun 9 Oct - Richmond

Next Sunday (9th Oct) we have a short, social trail run from Richmond Station to Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park (approx 3 miles) with an optional additional loop of 2 miles. We will run at the pace of the slowest. The route includes a hill, but steep hills may be walked up! If there is interest in shorter trail runs, I will organise more of these around London.

The cafe stop afterwards is in Pembroke Lodge, where we should coincide with the regular Sunday morning Serpie runners.

Meet at Richmond station at 09:30am, I will recongisable in Serpie gear. At the end of our run, from Pembroke Lodge it is a walk of just over a mile back to Richmond station.

It's an unsupported run with nowhere to leave bags at the start, so come in your running gear and bring only what you will take with you on the run. Bring a rain jacket and/or warm top for afterwards plus a small rucksack to carry it in. Wear either trail shoes or a pair of trainers you don't mind getting muddy.

If you are looking for a longer trail run next weekend, on Sat 8th October, Alan Hall will be leading a 20mile circular run in the Salcey Forest area. Look out for an email to the trail running distribution list for further details. If you are not already on the trail running mailing list and would like to receive emails about Serpie trail running opportunities, short and long, here's how to sign up.
