Summer League: Date Saver

The Summer League is a competition between a select group of London running clubs. There are 5 fixtures located in parks around Greater London. No need to pre-register, just turn up 30 minutes before the start time for a warm-up.
There are age-graded prizes up for grabs, and everybody who takes part scores points for Serpentine’s standing in the league, so you are welcome whether 10k will take you 35 or 95 minutes. The entry fee is included in your club membership, so you can just turn up and race on the day.

Event format
Each fixture consists of the following races:
- 5 mile or 10k for anyone over 15 years old
- Fun run for your under 6 year olds
- Tenderfoot (1500-2000m) for your 6-14 year olds
- Relays, 300-400m x 6 for everyone
- Cake-athon
You must bring your Serpie vest to enter.
Certificates are given to all junior fun runners and medals based on final standings are awarded for all other events, except the cake-athon, but you have to be in it to win it.
