London Mini Marathon Trials

The Virgin Money Giving Mini London Marathon is the official UK road running championships for young athletes aged between 11 and 17. If you’re looking for a challenge, the 2014 Virgin Money Giving Mini London Marathon is your chance to compete against the best new talent in British road running.

The course is 3 miles long, stretching from London’s Old Billingsgate to The Mall. The event is open to entrants from the 9 regions of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, and will include teams from all 33 London Boroughs.

Serpentine junior athletes living in Westminster can compete for a place on the Westminster team by taking part in a trial race.

Westminster Trials – Sun 9th March, 9am-12pm

The trials will take place at Paddington Recreation Ground, most likely starting off on the track and then going into the park, with races for each age group:

U13 – 9:00am registration, 9:30 race
U15 – 10:00am registration, 10:30 race
U17 – 11am registration, 11:30 race
