Men’s Cross Country Captain

This may seem like a weird time for a cross-country announcement but I wanted to ensure continuity and anyway, a lot of the hard team building work takes place during the track and field season.
Fraser is passionate about cross-country and I’m sure he’s going to make an excellent new captain. In his own words:
“I am very excited to become men’s cross country captain. I’d like to thank Eric, who will be a tough act to follow but I am ready for the challenge. My main target will undoubtedly be getting the best possible results in our key races. The best possible result is, of course, winning! So, I’ll be looking for us to emulate the incredible success of the ladies in that respect. I also want to boost participation in cross country at all levels. I see this as a key way to ensure we have strength in depth in the future. It’s also because I think it is a fantastic way to spend a winter’s day and the more of us there are, the better it will be.”
